The system features a heat shield to reduce intake air temperature, thereby increasing power output. Constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum with a gunmetal gray powder-coated finish, it is engineered to accommodate factory emissions control devices, including the mass air flow sensor and crankcase vent hose. The filter can last up to 100,000 miles before cleaning, depending on driving conditions, and the system is easy to install with common tools. It is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty, with some models being 50-state legal.

Designed specifically for 2005–2015 Nissan Frontier, 2005–2015 Xterra, and 2005–2015 Pathfinder models with a 4.0L V6 engine, this bolt-on intake system offers a straightforward upgrade for improved performance and efficiency.
