What to Know Before You Buy
Generation Split
The 10th-gen Civic Si (2017–2020) uses chassis codes FC1 (sedan) and FC3 (coupe). The 11th-gen Civic Si (2022+) uses FE1 and is sedan-only. Spring kits are not interchangeable between generations.
Rear Camber Kit
Eibach recommends their rear camber kit (part #5.67476K) for proper alignment on both 10th and 11th gen Civic Si. Budget for this if you choose Eibach. Swift and H&R typically work with factory alignment, but a professional alignment after installation is always recommended.
Trim-Specific Drops
Eibach Pro-Kit has different drops for Si Coupe vs Si Sedan on the 10th gen. The 11th gen Si is sedan-only, so one drop applies. Swift and H&R use consistent drops across Si Coupe and Sedan for the 10th gen.
Factory Shocks
All kits work with factory shocks. If your Civic Si has high mileage, consider refreshing dampers when installing springs.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need new shocks when installing lowering springs?
No. All kits in this guide work with factory shocks. If your Civic Si has high mileage, consider refreshing dampers when installing springs.
Will lowering springs void my factory warranty?
Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a dealer cannot void your entire warranty for installing aftermarket parts. However, warranty claims directly related to the modification can be denied.
Do 10th-gen springs fit the 11th-gen Civic Si?
No. The 10th-gen (FC1/FC3) and 11th-gen (FE1) use different suspension geometry. Kits are not interchangeable.
Should I get lowering springs or coilovers?
Lowering springs offer a set drop at lower cost ($229–$341 vs. $1,000+ for coilovers). If you want adjustable ride height and damping, coilovers are the better choice. Check our Suspension Buyers Guide for a full comparison.
