What to Know Before You Buy
G42 vs F22/F23
The G42 is the new 2 Series Coupe (2022+), replacing the F22/F23. Spring kits are not interchangeable. The H&R Sport 28662-2 fits G42 M240i xDrive. For 2014–2021 M235i/M240i (F22/F23), use H&R 28891-2 or 28896-3.
230i vs M240i
The G42 is offered as 230i and M240i. Current H&R fitment is confirmed for M240i xDrive with Sport Suspension. 230i and RWD M240i fitment may vary — verify with the manufacturer before purchasing.
Sport Suspension
The H&R Sport 28662-2 is designed for M240i xDrive with Sport Suspension. Lowering height may vary on models with different factory suspension packages. The G42 is a new platform; options are still limited compared to the F22.
Limited Options
The G42 (2022+) is a newer platform. At present, H&R offers the primary lowering spring option. More options may become available as the platform matures.

The H&R Sport (28662-2) delivers approximately 1.2" front and 1.2" rear drop on the 2022–2023 BMW M240i xDrive Coupe (G42) with Sport Suspension. It's the primary lowering spring option for the new 2 Series platform, sharing the same SKU as the G20/G22 3/4 Series kit due to platform commonality.
H&R springs are cold-wound from 54SiCr6 steel in Germany. The G42 M240i xDrive uses similar suspension geometry to the 330i/M340i, allowing this universal kit to fit. Confirm your trim (M240i xDrive with Sport Suspension) before purchasing.
