The Aeromotive Atomic Belt Drive Fuel Pump is a high-performance mechanical fuel pump designed for serious EFI and carbureted engines. It features a 12 GPM flow rate, capable of supporting up to 5,000 horsepower on gasoline and 2,500 horsepower on methanol. Constructed with a Gerotor pumping mechanism, it offers high efficiency and durability. The pump body is made from Type III hard coat anodized CNC-machined 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, ensuring toughness and resistance to harsh conditions. It is driven by a pulley and cog drive belt, allowing it to be powered directly from the engine's crankshaft, making it suitable for both high and low-pressure applications. The pump includes inlet fittings with 1.25-inch barb and AN-16 male connections, along with an ORB-12 female outlet port, providing versatile installation options. EFI setups may require high-flow bypass regulators, which are sold separately.
