Aeromotive Atomic Hex Drive Fuel Pump

The Aeromotive Atomic Hex Drive Fuel Pump is a high-performance mechanical fuel pump designed to deliver up to 12 GPM of fuel flow. Built with a Gerotor pumping mechanism, it is suitable for serious EFI and carbureted engines running gasoline, ethanol, or methanol. The pump features a tough Type III hard coat anodized body and is CNC machined from 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, ensuring durability and efficiency. It requires a 3/8" female hex drive, allowing it to be driven from the camshaft, dry-sump oil pump, or mounted remotely using a Heavy Duty Cable Drive such as Waterman Racing’s. The pump includes both a 1.25" barb and AN-16 male inlet, with an ORB-12 female outlet port, making it versatile for various fuel system configurations. It is capable of supporting high or low-pressure applications, with flow rates suitable for engines producing up to 5,000 HP on gasoline and 2,500 HP on methanol.

This fuel pump is compatible with a wide range of vehicle setups, including those with high-performance EFI or carbureted systems. It can be mounted off the engine or at the rear of the vehicle, offering flexible installation options for racing, high-performance street, or custom applications.
