The ARP Main Stud Kits are high-performance fasteners designed for use in demanding engine applications. Crafted from forged 8740 chromoly steel, these ARP Pro Series main bolts are rated at 190,000 psi, ensuring exceptional strength and durability under extreme conditions. Featuring a billet-style design with a reduced wrenching head, large underhead radius, and rolled threads, these studs provide superior reliability and consistent clamping force. The rolled threads are heat-treated, offering approximately 2,000 percent better fatigue resistance compared to standard fasteners. These kits are engineered to meet the rigorous standards of professional engine builders and competition engines, delivering optimal performance and peace of mind during high-stress operation.

Designed for multiple Mopar applications, these ARP main stud kits are suitable for a wide range of engine configurations. They serve as direct replacements or upgrades for stock main bolts, providing increased clamping force and improved engine integrity. Installation involves replacing the stock bolts with these high-strength studs, making them ideal for street, track, or racing use where engine reliability is critical. The kits typically include the necessary studs and nuts, ensuring a straightforward installation process. Compatible with various Mopar engines, these studs are an excellent choice for performance enthusiasts seeking to enhance engine durability and performance.

Overview

Rod Bolt Stretch Gauge Digital Billet Style by ARP

ARP Pro Series main bolts are application-specific and rated at 190,000 psi. Designed for use in competition engines, as well as to meet the exacting standards and demands of professional engine builders, ARP bolts are forged from 8740 chromoly steel and feature a reduced wrenching head, large underhead radius, and rolled threads for the utmost in reliability.

The threads are rolled after heat-treating which gives them about 2,000 percent better fatigue strength than most main bolts that are threaded prior to heat-treating. Hardened parallel-ground washers are included with each kit.
