The AST Lowering Springs for the 2014 and newer Ford Mondeo V Wagon are high-performance suspension components designed to improve handling and aesthetics. Constructed from premium high tensile chromium-silicone wire, these springs are carefully handpicked by AST engineers for their quality and metal consistency. Each spring undergoes a rigorous manufacturing process, including cold winding, heat treatment to enhance hardness and reduce internal stresses, and individual shot peening. The springs are phosphate treated and powder coated to ensure durability and longevity, surpassing the vehicle's lifespan. Featuring progressive rates on most applications, these springs provide a balanced ride quality with improved cornering stability and a lowered stance.

Each spring is cold wound and then heat treated to increase hardness and reduce internal stresses present after winding. Each spring is then individually shot peened, phosphate treated and then powder coated to outlast even the life of the vehicle.
