The Bilstein 5100 shocks set is a high-performance suspension upgrade designed for 1992-1994 Chevrolet Blazer RWD 2-door models with a 6-inch lift. Featuring a monotube design with a 46mm digressive piston, these shocks enhance road handling both on and off-road. Constructed with a zinc-plated finish for corrosion and rust resistance, they reduce body roll and nose dive while providing a more compliant ride over bumps and rough terrain. The shocks are extended length to accommodate 6.0-inch lift systems, making them ideal for lifted vehicles with larger tires and higher centers of gravity. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, they are built for durability and long-lasting performance in demanding conditions.

Designed specifically for 2-door RWD vehicles with either A-arm style lift with 3-inch lift or A-arm/lift spindle style with 6-inch lift, these shocks are a direct bolt-on replacement. The kit includes four shocks—two front and two rear—and all necessary hardware such as washers, bushings, reservoir clamps, and nuts for installation, with factory shock mounting bolts reused. They are suitable for vehicles with larger wheels and tires, or those lifted for off-road use, providing increased load capacity, towing capability, and off-road performance. Factory hardware and mounting plates are sold separately, ensuring proper fitment and installation.

Bilstein 5100 shocks utilize a monotube design, with a 46mm digressive piston, to increase road handling characteristics both on and off-road. The single tube body allows for rapid heat transfer between the shock oil to the shock body, and then dissipated further to reduce shock fade. German engineering combined with US manufacturing ensures optimum performance and longevity for upwards of 100k miles (real customer feedback!). The 5100 series is more compliant in tougher situations and off-road terrain compared to the 4600 series. Factory spec vehicles should use the 4600 series shocks as the valving is more appropriate for daily driven vehicles and pavement environments.
