The Bilstein B8 5100 Monotube Shocks Front Pair with 6-inch lift are high-performance shock absorbers designed for 1999-2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty RWD trucks. Constructed with a monotube design and a 46mm digressive piston, these shocks enhance handling both on and off-road by reducing body roll and nose dive. They are extended length for 6.0-inch front lift systems and feature a durable zinc plating that provides corrosion and rust resistance in harsh environments. The B8 5100 series is engineered to handle increased loads, towing, and off-road terrain, offering improved compliance over bumps and holes for a smoother ride. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, these shocks are built for durability and long-lasting performance, ensuring optimal heat dissipation and reduced shock fade over time.
Designed specifically for RWD vehicles with a 6.0-inch front lift, these shocks fit models equipped with stock radius arms and factory hardware, including washers, bushings, reservoir clamps, and nuts. Installation reuses factory shock mounting bolts, with mounting plates sold separately. They are ideal for lifted trucks with larger tires or higher centers of gravity, providing a versatile upgrade for off-road enthusiasts and heavy-duty users. Factory spec vehicles should consider Bilstein 4600 shocks for daily driving, but the B8 5100 series excels in demanding conditions, making it suitable for off-road adventures, towing, and heavy-duty applications.

Bilstein 5100 shocks utilize a monotube design, with a 46mm digressive piston, to increase road handling characteristics both on and off-road. The single tube body allows for rapid heat transfer between the shock oil to the shock body, and then dissipated further to reduce shock fade. German engineering combined with US manufacturing ensures optimum performance and longevity for upwards of 100k miles (real customer feedback!). The 5100 series is more compliant in tougher situations and off-road terrain compared to the 4600 series. Factory spec vehicles should use the 4600 series shocks as the valving is more appropriate for daily driven vehicles and pavement environments.
