The Bilstein B8 5100 Monotube Shocks Rear Pair are high-performance shock absorbers designed for 2004-2015 Nissan Titan RWD models. Constructed with a monotube design and a 46mm digressive piston, these shocks enhance handling both on and off-road by reducing body roll and nose dive while providing increased compliance over bumps and holes. They are built with a durable zinc plating to resist corrosion and rust in harsh environments. The B8 5100 series is capable of handling heavy-duty loads, towing, and rugged terrain, making it ideal for vehicles with larger tires or those lifted up to 1 inch. All necessary hardware, including washers, bushings, reservoir clamps, and nuts, are included for straightforward installation, with factory shock mounting bolts reused. This product offers a long-lasting, high-quality upgrade for demanding driving conditions.
Designed specifically for rear RWD Nissan Titans at factory height or with up to 1 inch of rear lift, these shocks are suitable for vehicles with no suspension modifications or mild lifts. They are intended for use in daily driving, off-road adventures, and towing, providing improved stability and ride quality. The shocks are a direct bolt-on replacement, reusing factory hardware for easy installation. The package includes two shocks, making it a complete rear suspension upgrade. These shocks are not compatible with FWD or AWD models and are optimized for vehicles with larger tires or lifted setups, ensuring enhanced performance and durability in demanding environments.

[Blog Post: Bilstein 5100 vs. 4600, Major Differences](https://www.shocksurplus.com/pages/bilstein-4600-vs-5100-series-the-lowdown)
Bilstein 5100 shocks utilize a monotube design, with a 46mm digressive piston, to increase road handling characteristics both on and off-road. The single tube body allows for rapid heat transfer between the shock oil to the shock body, and then dissipated further to reduce shock fade. German engineering combined with US manufacturing ensures optimum performance and longevity for upwards of 100k miles (real customer feedback!). The 5100 series is more compliant in tougher situations and off-road terrain compared to the 4600 series. Factory spec vehicles should use the 4600 series shocks as the valving is more appropriate for daily driven vehicles and pavement environments.
