The Bilstein B8 5100 Monotube Shocks Rear Pair are high-performance shock absorbers designed for 2015-2022 GMC Canyon models with 4WD or RWD configurations. Featuring a monotube design with a 46mm digressive piston, these shocks enhance handling both on and off-road by reducing body roll and nose dive while providing increased compliance over bumps and holes. Built with a durable zinc plating for corrosion and rust resistance, they are engineered to handle heavy-duty loads, towing, and rugged terrain. The B8 5100 series offers rapid heat dissipation to minimize shock fade, ensuring consistent performance over extended miles. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, these shocks are ideal for vehicles with larger tires or slight lifts, providing a versatile upgrade for demanding driving conditions.
Designed to fit vehicles at factory height or with up to a 1-inch rear lift, these shocks are compatible with both 4WD and RWD GMC Canyons. They come with all necessary hardware, including washers, bushings, reservoir clamps, and nuts, for straightforward installation using factory shock mounting bolts (mounting plates sold separately). Suitable for vehicles with no suspension modifications or minor lifts, they serve as a robust replacement or upgrade for daily driving, off-road adventures, or towing. The shocks are intended for use on factory-spec vehicles, offering enhanced durability and performance in challenging environments while maintaining a factory-like fit and function.

Bilstein 5100 shocks utilize a monotube design, with a 46mm digressive piston, to increase road handling characteristics both on and off-road. The single tube body allows for rapid heat transfer between the shock oil to the shock body, and then dissipated further to reduce shock fade. German engineering combined with US manufacturing ensures optimum performance and longevity for upwards of 100k miles (real customer feedback!). The 5100 series is more compliant in tougher situations and off-road terrain compared to the 4600 series. Factory spec vehicles should use the 4600 series shocks as the valving is more appropriate for daily driven vehicles and pavement environments.
