The Bilstein B8 5100 Monotube Shocks Rear Pair is a high-performance suspension component designed for improved handling and durability. Featuring a monotube design with a 46mm digressive piston, these shocks provide enhanced road handling both on and off-road. Built with a zinc plate finish, they offer excellent corrosion and rust resistance in harsh environments. The shocks are extended length for 0.0" rear lift systems and are engineered to reduce body roll and nose dive, delivering a more compliant ride over bumps and rough terrain. Suitable for heavy-duty loads, towing, and off-road use, the B8 5100 series ensures long-lasting performance with rapid heat dissipation to minimize shock fade, backed by Bilstein’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.

These shocks are specifically designed for 2015–2020 Ford F-150 RWD models with no rear lift. They are a direct bolt-on replacement that reuse factory shock mounting bolts, with all necessary washers, bushings, reservoir clamps, and nuts included—mounting plates are sold separately. Ideal for vehicles with larger tires or lifted suspensions, they enhance off-road capability and daily driving comfort. This product is intended solely for RWD vehicles and is not compatible with 4WD models. Factory spec vehicles should consider Bilstein 4600 shocks for optimal daily pavement performance.

Bilstein 5100 shocks utilize a monotube design, with a 46mm digressive piston, to increase road handling characteristics both on and off-road. The single tube body allows for rapid heat transfer between the shock oil to the shock body, and then dissipated further to reduce shock fade. German engineering combined with US manufacturing ensures optimum performance and longevity for upwards of 100k miles (real customer feedback!). The 5100 series is more compliant in tougher situations and off-road terrain compared to the 4600 series. Factory spec vehicles should use the 4600 series shocks as the valving is more appropriate for daily driven vehicles and pavement environments.
