Built with a monotube design and a 46mm digressive piston, these shocks enhance road handling both on and off-road. They feature a zinc plate finish for corrosion and rust resistance, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The shocks are extended length to accommodate larger tires and lifted suspensions, providing improved stability, reduced body roll, and better compliance over bumps and rough terrain. With a Bilstein Limited Lifetime Warranty, these shocks are engineered for longevity and consistent performance, making them ideal for heavy-duty loads, towing, and off-road adventures.
Designed specifically for 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Classic RWD models with coil spring front suspension, these shocks are a direct bolt-on replacement for the rear suspension. They are suitable for vehicles with larger wheels or lifted setups, excluding non-Classic models and HD variants. The kit includes all necessary hardware such as washers, bushings, reservoir clamps, and nuts, with factory shock mounting bolts reused during installation. These shocks are intended for use on vehicles with factory specifications or lifted configurations, providing a versatile upgrade for daily driving, off-road use, or towing. Mounting plates are sold separately, and the shocks are compatible only with "Classic" Silverado/Sierra 1500 models.

Bilstein 5100 shocks utilize a monotube design, with a 46mm digressive piston, to increase road handling characteristics both on and off-road. The single tube body allows for rapid heat transfer between the shock oil to the shock body, and then dissipated further to reduce shock fade. German engineering combined with US manufacturing ensures optimum performance and longevity for upwards of 100k miles (real customer feedback!). The 5100 series is more compliant in tougher situations and off-road terrain compared to the 4600 series. Factory spec vehicles should use the 4600 series shocks as the valving is more appropriate for daily driven vehicles and pavement environments.
