The Bilstein B8 8100 Bypass Reservoir Shocks Rear Pair are high-performance, externally adjustable shocks designed for light trucks and SUVs. Constructed with a 60mm large bore hard anodized aluminum piston, they deliver enhanced damping control and long-term durability. Incorporating Bilstein’s twin-tube and gas-pressure technologies, these shocks resist oil foaming and damping fade under extreme stress, ensuring consistent performance. The reservoir mounts, washers, bushings, and nuts are included for straightforward installation, with factory shock mounting bolts reused.   • Bilstein twin-tube technology
    Twin-tube shocks utilize double-walled technology, where the piston divides the interior oil chamber into two working chambers. Under load, the piston pushes the oil down through the inner working chamber and up into the outer chamber. During rebound, the oil flows back through the piston valve to create a damping effect.
