The Camburg 2.50 Rear LHT 4130HT Snout is a high-performance spindle component designed for off-road and racing applications. Crafted from aircraft-quality 4130 chromoly steel, these CNC-machined snouts start from billet material and undergo heat treatment for enhanced strength, surface hardness, and stress relief. Precision-machined and threaded to 0.001" tolerances, they ensure optimal fit and durability. These snouts are used in Camburg’s complete rear end assemblies with 2.50 hubs, providing a reliable upgrade for demanding off-road use. The inclusion of locking nuts and hardware makes installation straightforward, and available in both right-hand and left-hand thread versions for versatile pairing. Select the appropriate tubing size for your axle housing to ensure proper fitment and performance.

Designed specifically for vehicles utilizing Camburg 2.50 rear hubs, these snouts are suitable for a range of off-road vehicles and custom builds. They are intended as direct replacements or upgrades for existing rear axle components, offering increased strength and reliability in high-stress environments. Compatible with axle housings of the specified size, they are ideal for off-road racing, trail riding, or heavy-duty applications requiring precise machining and durable materials. Installation involves replacing the stock snout with these CNC-machined parts, ensuring a secure fit with included hardware. For optimal performance, order both right and left-hand thread versions when assembling a set, and confirm the tubing size of your axle housing before purchase.

Overview

These 2.50 spindle snouts are CNC machined in-house from aircraft quality 4130 chromoly. Starting with a billet 4130 bar we machine them to rough dimensions of the final part. We then have them heat-treated for increased strength and surface hardness and stress relieved by a leading aerospace facility. After heat-treatment we then machine and thread the critical dimensions and bearing surfaces to 0.001" tolerances. These are also what we use in our complete rear ends that utilize our 2.50 hubs. These are complete and include the locking nut and hardware. We offer these in both right hand and left hand thread versions so order one of each when needing a set. Also select the correct tubing size of the axle housing you're using them in. For Camburg 2.50 rear hubs.
