Clutch Kit w/ Aluminum Flywheel by Clutch Masters

The FX300 clutch is designed for the ultimate street enthusiast running slightly more boost than factory w/ the addition of cams and or head work. The FX300 features only slightly increased pedal pressure, long life disc and positive engagement. The FX300 is only recommended for the street and not for the track. There is a minimum 500 break-in miles required to get the true performance out of this clutch. Every Clutch Masters flywheel is proudly designed and manufactured in the USA. Flywheels are first designed in CAD and are then precision CNC machined in house in one of or Haas CNC lathes out of 6061 aluminum or 1045 steel billet cores. After machining, the flywheel is zero balanced to ensure it is evenly weighted on all sides and spins 100% true. Each aluminum flywheel is Type 3 Hard Anodized for the ultimate in durability and protection of the aluminum. All steel flywheels are black oxide coated to add a layer of rust prevention and gives our steel flywheels a unique black finish. The flywheel is then assembled by a Clutch Master Craftsman, double checked for imperfections and tolerances, and is then ready to be paired with your OEM clutch kit or one of our FX100-FX500 single disc clutch kits or twin disc options. All flywheels are SFI 1.2 Certified for use in motorsports. The FX300 System uses our Hi-Leveragetm Pressure Plate with a Steel Backed Segmented Kevlar disc. This clutch is designed for the ultimate street enthusiast or weekend racer running a normally aspirated car equipped with cylinder head work and/or hotter cam(s); a medium-boost turbo or super-charger setup; or up to 100hp NO2. The FX300 features only slightly increased pedal pressure, long life disc and positive engagement. The FX300 is only recommended for the street and not for the track. Minimum 500 break-in miles required. All stages come as a complete kit including disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing, pilot bearing (when applicable), and alignment tool.(Individual components available upon request) Organic/ Kevlar/ Formula Button Clutch kits are expected and tend to have a higher life expectancy than OEM, however not guaranteed. Improper Installation, Driving style, performance upgrades, Break in procedure and light weight flywheels will effect and have a role in determining the life expectancy of the clutch kit.
