The Cometic GM LS9 4.100-inch Bore Head Gasket is a high-performance multi-layer steel component designed for optimal sealing and durability in demanding engine applications. Constructed with multiple embossed layers of stainless steel, the gasket features outer layers coated with Viton rubber to enhance sealing capabilities. The compressed operating thickness is precisely 0.051 inches, providing a reliable seal on the left side of the cylinder head. Cometic's MLX (Multi-Layer Stopper) technology incorporates an integrated stopper layer that improves combustion chamber sealing and increases clamp load around the cylinder without causing bore distortion. Made from the same high-quality materials as MLS head gaskets, this gasket requires no sealants or re-torque after installation, ensuring a secure and maintenance-free fit.
