CarPro CQuartz DLUX is a dedicated ceramic coating designed to handle those conditions, making it a go-to choice in our shop for ceramic coating wheels. Once applied, DLUX creates a durable, protective layer that helps reduce how strongly brake dust and contamination cling to the surface, so maintenance becomes faster and far less frustrating. Many customers love that they can often rinse wheels cleaner with less scrubbing—and without sacrificing a pile of towels.

Compatible with Most Wheel Finishes

DLUX can be used on a wide range of wheel materials and finishes, including clear coated, chrome, aluminum, and plastic. It was originally engineered for plastics, rubber, and metal, which is exactly why it performs so well on wheels and surrounding components. As a bonus, it’s also excellent for exterior trim—enhancing appearance with a richer, darker look without an oily or greasy feel.

Application Tips for Wheel Coating (How We Do It)

For best results on new wheels, we recommend coating them right out of the box (after proper prep). Our preferred approach is:

• Coat the wheel faces first before tires are mounted.
• Then mount and balance the tires.
• After mounting, thoroughly clean the barrels and coat the barrel section.

Important: Avoid coating areas where wheel weights must adhere, because the coating can make it difficult for weights to stick securely.
