CUSCO SPORT X development concept

- 3-way damping adjustment = 24 steps of extension x 24 steps of low pressure x 24 steps of high speed damping force adjustment function enables delicate setting.
- Based on a single-cylinder shock absorber, a sub-tank type is adopted for both strut and wishbone types, and by greatly increasing oil capacity and improving heat dissipation, durability is improved and performance changes are reduced.
- The wishbone type uses a lightweight machined aluminum adjustment case. *SPORT S and street series are recommended for users who want a comfortable ride.
Monotube shock absorber
A structure in which the shock absorber body is a single cylinder. By increasing the diameter of the piston and improving the valve, etc., it generates a delicate damping force from minute inputs from the road surface, and follows even faster piston speeds. In addition, since the cylinder (tube) is in direct contact with the outside air, it has excellent heat dissipation and exhibits stable damping force characteristics.
Equipped with a separate tank
By increasing the capacity of the oil reservoir tank as a separate body, stable damping force is generated even under harsh conditions, contributing to heat dissipation.

Full length adjustable vehicle height adjustment
"Overall length adjustment type" that does not change the suspension stroke even if the vehicle height is lowered. Both fine vehicle height adjustment and high ride comfort are achieved.
Newly developed CUSCO SPORT "Blue spring" adopted
The double shot peening process has increased the strength and greatly improved the resistance to settling, and by making the tolerance extremely small, we have made it possible to set more precisely than ever before.
Upper mount
The strut type front adopts a camber adjustable pillow upper mount, and other than that, a camber fixed reinforced rubber upper mount is set. A center lock pillow upper mount (sold separately) can be installed on vehicles with no upper mount. Newly developed CC pillow upper mount (camber and caster independent adjustment type) is available as an option for some front strut type models.
Ram type (inverted type) shock absorber
Only the strut type uses a ram type shock absorber in which the piston rod extends downward from the main body. It is effective in reducing unsprung weight, is strong against lateral G, and has excellent heat dissipation.
