The EBC RK Series Premium Rear Rotors are high-quality OE replacement brake rotors designed for the 1999-2001 Audi A6 Quattro 2.7 Twin Turbo Sedan. Crafted from durable gray iron, these rotors are machined to meet strict factory dimensions with tolerances within 0.05 millimeters, ensuring precise fitment and reliable performance. They are engineered to improve thermal management, reduce brake noise and vibration, and enhance wear resistance. The anodized layer provides corrosion protection, while the rotor's shape and size match the original specifications for seamless integration. These rotors are ideal for restoring factory braking performance or upgrading your vehicle's braking system with a reliable, high-quality component.

Designed specifically for 1999-2001 Audi A6 Quattro models with the 2.7 twin-turbo engine, these rotors are a direct replacement for the original equipment. They are sold in pairs and intended for use on the rear axle, providing consistent and balanced braking performance. Suitable for street driving and daily use, they offer improved heat dissipation and reduced brake fade under demanding conditions. Installation is straightforward, as they conform to OE dimensions and specifications. The kit includes two rotors, ensuring a complete replacement for the rear braking system, and they are compatible with the original pad set or upgraded brake components for enhanced stopping power.

Overview

EBC RK Series Premium OE Replacement Plain Brake Rotors by EBC®. Sold In Pairs. This replacement brake rotor is sized and shaped to OE factory dimensions with the strictest quality controls and machined to be within extremely tight tolerances of less than 0.05 millimeters. High quality "gray" iron meets or exceeds factory original specifications regarding thermal buildup, brake noise, vibration, and wear. The anodized layer is designed to disappear in the area that the brake pads contact the rotor.Features:

  • Sized and shaped to original equipment specifications with extremely tight tolerances
  • Designed to meet or reduce factory levels of heat buildup, brake noise, vibration, and wear
  • Recommended by EBC for use with EBC Ultimax and Yellowstuff pads
  • Black GEOMET™ and NITROTHERM™ anti-corrosive finish
  • Recommended by EBC for normal street driving, high-performance street driving, truck or SUV use, drifting, and short track runs
  • High quality "gray" iron features a higher carbon content to reduce brake shudder, heat cracking, and high-frequency vibrations which cause squealing
  • EBC recommends a 500-mile break-in period with lighter braking application

Benefits:

  • Perfect for non-aggressive driving
  • Ensure quiet operation
  • Offers low dust and long pad life
  • More resistant to warping or cracking
Why pay dealership prices that are marked up 100% when you can purchase EBC high-quality Premium OE Replacement Rotors for less? Unlike cheaper, inferior replacement rotor that may look identical to original equipment, EBC builds these to match original factory dimensions and machines them to extremely tight tolerances. But they did not stop there. EBC has applied their engineering expertise to create an iron compound that exceeds the quality of most original material blends, so these rotor actually improve on factory levels of heat buildup, brake noise, vibration, and wear. A higher percentage of carbon and silicone is present which leads to the formation of graphite during the curing process. When graphite is present, the rotor itself takes on qualities of a denser, softer material. Heat is more evenly dispersed to reduce warping, cracks are less likely, and vibration-related noise is greatly reduced. Premium OE Replacement Rotors is anodized for corrosion resistance, and rotor should be fully ready for performance driving after a 500-mile break-in period.
