Unlike aftermarket finishes, this coating is applied during manufacturing as part of the production process, ensuring better consistency and protection from the elements. 

Designed to work especially well with high-friction brake pads, EBC slotted rotors deliver enhanced braking performance and extended rotor life. The precision-machined slots serve multiple functions—allowing gases to escape under heavy braking to reduce fade, minimizing brake noise, and clearing away water, dirt, and debris for consistent contact. This helps maintain even pad wear and optimum braking efficiency.
