"LA CLUTCH Dual," a twin plate clutch based on the LA CLUTCH idea, has been released for the 1JZ. Maximum torque is 73kgf-m, with a horsepower rating of 700ps. With a large capacity as metal clutches and simple clutch operation as stock. Clutch mechanism with a high overall balance.
Large-capacity clutch systems typically necessitate a lot of pedal pressure. With the improved diaphragm spring, all that is required is sufficient pedal pressure. Although the pedals are tight, the transition from the street to the circuit is wonderfully simple and stress-free. The cover is forged aluminum, which is strong and has low inertia.
On the pressure plate, a pivot ring with a low-stiffness spring enhances the clutch engagement zone. It simplifies clutch engagement and is as simple as the factory clutch.
A new 8.5-inch disc was created to boost capacity. The disc damper reduces gear noise during operation and protects the gearbox from shock torque. The consistent friction coefficient makes clutch operation simple and eliminates unwanted vibration during clutch engagement. Independent type allows for a lightweight and sturdy structure with a smooth shift feeling and precise disengagement action.
Because of the repelling of the lifting plate on both sides of the center plate, the position of the center plate will always be centered during disengagement. It extends the life of the disc and minimizes the mechanical noise of the multi-plate clutch.
Flywheel weight is appropriately adjusted for each vehicle type for improved reaction and smooth driving, while too little weight causes driving trouble. The round drive boss allows for improved inertia performance. The total weight of the clutch package is also less than the stock.
