The HKS Disk LA Twin F/W Side for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X CZ4A/C(T)(P)(N)9A is a high-performance clutch system designed for street and sports driving applications. Engineered with a focus on torque capacity, pedal effort, and semi-engagement range, this clutch provides a balanced combination of durability and driving feel. Utilizing MG Composite Discs, it effectively reduces judder and enhances pedal feedback compared to stock clutches. Disc dampers are incorporated to minimize gear noise and protect the transmission from shock torque, ensuring smoother operation during aggressive driving. The LA Twin clutch maintains core principles of high torque handling while offering improved engagement and driving comfort, making it suitable for spirited street use and track days.
Designed specifically for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X models, this clutch is compatible with vehicles equipped to handle approximately 700ps of torque. It is a direct replacement for the stock clutch, providing a reliable upgrade for performance enthusiasts. Installation involves standard bolt-on procedures, and the kit includes the twin disc assembly necessary for optimal operation. This clutch system is ideal for drivers seeking enhanced performance, durability, and a refined driving experience on both street and track. It is suitable for use in high-performance builds where increased torque capacity and smooth engagement are priorities.

Overview
Overview
The tuning expert HKS gives the clutch system for streets and sports use. Capable torque, pedal effort, and semi-engagement range are closely examined for various driving situations. Despite the support of approximately 700ps, the main concept for the Twin Plate LA Clutch remains the same. Using "MG Composite Discs" to reduce judder and achieve better driving feel compared to the stock clutch. Disc dampers are used to reduce gear noise and protect the transmission from shock torque. The LA Twin also has a "Pivot Ring" within the pressure plate to offer partial engagement like no other twin-plate clutch.
PLEASE NOTE
- "Allowable Range" is the range of engine torque that is allowable unless the clutch is overheated by intentional clutch semi-engagement.
- "Conditional Allowable Range" is the range slippage that may occur due to rough handling, kickback from tires, components' distortion.
- Range beyond Allowable Range" is the range that slippage occurs when a clutch is being engaged under high RPM.
- "Mechanical Limit" is the point that slippage occurs while accelerating.
