The ICON Stage 9 Suspension System for Toyota Tacoma is a comprehensive upgrade designed to enhance off-road performance and ride quality. It features vehicle-specific tuned 2.5 Series Extended Travel coilover shocks with remote reservoirs and CDCV technology for superior cooling and fade resistance. The coilovers are height adjustable from 0-3.5 inches for 2005-2015 models and 0-2.75 inches for 2016-2023 models, enabling larger, more aggressive wheel and tire setups. The system includes ICON-engineered coil springs for improved vehicle feel across the suspension travel, along with a billet aluminum upper control arm kit that corrects front-end geometry, increases camber and caster adjustment, and enhances suspension component clearance. Rear ride quality and droop travel are increased with ICON RXT multi-rate leaf springs, which feature an exchangeable additional leaf for a 10-20% spring rate increase, ideal for vehicles with added weight or load.

Designed for 2005-2015 and 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma models, this Stage 9 suspension system is tailored for off-road enthusiasts seeking durability and performance. It is a bolt-on upgrade that improves front and rear suspension travel, handling, and stability, especially in demanding terrain. The kit includes extended travel coilover shocks with remote reservoirs, ICON billet upper control arms, and multi-rate leaf springs, making it suitable for off-road, trail, and overlanding applications. The adjustable CDC valves allow for fine-tuning compression damping across 10 levels, providing versatility for various driving conditions. This system is ideal for drivers looking to maximize their Tacoma’s off-road capability while maintaining a reliable, high-quality suspension setup.

Overview

The Stage 9 system includes vehicle-specific tuned 2.5 Series Extended Travel coilover shocks featuring a remote reservoir with CDCV for exceptional cooling properties and ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. These coilovers are also height adjustable from 0-3.5” for 2005-2015 models or 0-2.75" for 2016-2023 models, allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. Used in conjunction with the included ICON upper control arm, these extended travel coilovers add increased droop travel to the front suspension. The included ICON billet aluminum upper control arm kit is designed to improve the overall performance of the Toyota Tacoma with corrected front-end geometry, increased on-vehicle camber and caster adjustment, and improved suspension component clearance. To increase the ride quality of the truck and gain additional droop travel, the ICON RXT multi-rate leaf springs are added to the rear. Designed with an additional leaf (included with kit) that can be exchanged or added to the pack to yield an additional 10-20% spring rate, this leaf spring is perfect for drivers seeking improved rear ride quality in an “unloaded” vehicle as well as those that are have outfitted their trucks with a significant amount of weight in the form of a bed rack, roof top tent, spare tires, parts, or other additions. To compliment this increase in rear wheel travel the Stage 9 system includes a unique 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir shock with CDCV that features a side-mount eyelet that making it shorter in collapsed length, longer at extension, and still fits in the factory mounting location. A large ten-inch remote reservoir was added to aid in heat dissipation and resist shock fade during spirited driving. The included ICON CDC Valves are externally adjustable valves that restricts oil flow into the reservoir which creates 10 levels of compression damping force ranges.
