The ICON 05-26 Ford F-250/350 SD 4WD 0-3in 3.0 Series VS RR CDCV Rear Coilover Pair is a high-performance suspension component designed to enhance off-road capability and on-road comfort. These vehicle-specific shocks feature a 3.0 Series design with 50% more piston surface area than the 2.5 Series, providing increased stability, improved vehicle control, and better heat dissipation under hard use. Constructed with internal oil volume enhancements and external surface area, they resist shock fade and deliver consistent damping. The shocks incorporate a unique internal “Bump Zone” via a billet aluminum manifold for remote reservoir applications, adding 20% damping force to prevent harsh bottom outs and improve high-velocity compression control. ICON’s exclusive Compression Damping Control Valves allow precise tuning for various driving conditions, whether on the street, rocks, or desert terrain.
Designed specifically for 2011–2026 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD models, these shocks are tailored for each application in length and damping. ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 3.0 Series shocks are designed and built to give your vehicle outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. These shocks are configured specifically for each application in both length and damping tune. 3.0 Series shocks boast 50% more piston surface area compared to 2.5 Series shocks. This translates into increased stability and vehicle control at the extremes of off-road use, with benefits also making themselves apparent in on-road driving conditions. Increased internal oil volume and more external surface area compared to 2.5 Series shocks offer improved heat dissipation and resistance to shock fade under hard use. Like all ICON shock absorbers, V.S. 3.0 Series shocks are 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable. For piggyback and specific remote reservoir applications, ICON’s unique use of a 6061 billet aluminum manifold a few inches below the top cap of the shock creates an internal “Bump Zone” that, when used, creates an additional 20% of damping force. This additional force helps prevent harsh bottom outs and controls the suspension when compressing at high velocity. ICON's exclusive Compression Damping Control Valves are included for precisely dialing in your suspension performance. CDCV controls fluid flow under compression, allowing you to achieve the perfect tune whether driving on the street, slow-crawling through the rocks or mobbing across the desert at full throttle.
