The ICON 57840P Vehicle Specific 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are high-performance suspension components designed to enhance both off-road capability and on-road comfort for the 2022-2025 Toyota Tundra. Constructed with 6061-billet aluminum, these shocks feature a unique internal Bump Zone created by a manifold located below the top cap, which provides an additional 20% damping force. This design helps prevent harsh bottom outs and maintains suspension control during high-velocity compression. Fully rebuildable and re-tunable, these shocks are configured specifically for each application in both length and damping characteristics, ensuring optimal performance tailored to your vehicle’s needs.
These shocks are intended for use on the rear suspension of the Toyota Tundra and are suitable for vehicles with 0-1 inch lift. They are ideal for off-road adventures while maintaining a smooth ride on paved roads, making them suitable for daily driving, off-road excursions, and performance upgrades. The pair is a direct bolt-on replacement for stock shocks, offering improved damping and durability. Designed specifically for the 2022-2025 Tundra, these shocks are compatible with models equipped with remote reservoir or piggyback configurations, providing versatile tuning options for various driving conditions.

Overview
ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are designed and built to give your vehicle outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. These shocks are configured specifically for each application in both length and damping tune. Like all ICON'S Shock Absorbers, V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are fully rebuildable and re-tunable. For piggyback and specific remote reservoir applications, ICON'S unique use of a 6061-billet aluminum manifold a few inches below the top cap of the shock creates an internal Bump Zone that when used creates an additional 20% of damping force. This additional force helps prevent harsh bottom outs and controls the suspension when compressing at high velocity. If you are looking for a more user defined tune, consider looking into the Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) shocks.
