The ICON 23-24 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty 4WD 4.5-inch Front 2.5 Series Shocks VS RR CDCV are high-performance shock absorbers designed to enhance off-road capability while maintaining a smooth on-road ride. Constructed with one-piece impact extruded aluminum cylinders, these shocks are lighter, more corrosion-resistant, and provide a uniform finish compared to traditional steel cylinders. They feature vehicle-specific tuning for optimal damping and performance, along with remote reservoirs that increase oil volume and heat dissipation to prevent overheating and cavitation during demanding use. The inclusion of a 6061 billet aluminum “Bump Zone” creates additional damping force, reducing harsh bottom-outs and improving suspension control at high velocities. ICON’s Compression Damping Control Valves allow precise tuning for various driving conditions, whether on the street, crawling rocks, or desert terrain.

ICON’s 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are designed and built to give your vehicle outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. With a truly vehicle-specific design, these shocks are configured specifically for each application in both length and damping tune. Featuring one-piece impact extruded aluminum cylinders, these 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks offer lighter weight, improved corrosion resistance, and a more uniform finish than traditional plated steel cylinders. Like all ICON shock absorbers, these 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable. Remoyte reservoirs greatly increase shock oil volume and heat dissipation surface area to resist overheating and cavitation under hard use, which can lead to damper fade. ICON’s unique use of a 6061 billet aluminum manifold a few inches below the top cap of the shock creates an internal “Bump Zone” that when used creates an additional 20% of damping force. This additional force helps prevent harsh bottom-out conditions and controls the suspension effectively when compressing at high velocity. ICON's exclusive Compression Damping Control Valves are included for precisely dialing in your suspension performance. CDCV controls fluid flow under compression, allowing you to achieve the perfect tune whether driving on the street, slow-crawling through the rocks or mobbing across the desert at full throttle.
