Ohlins Road & Track Coilovers – FR-S / BRZ / 86 ZN6/ZC6 (SUS MP21S1)
Overview
Balancing track-level performance with real-world comfort is one of the biggest challenges when upgrading suspension on the Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S, or Toyota 86. Many coilover systems force drivers to choose between sharp handling on track or acceptable ride quality on the street.
Ohlins Road & Track Coilovers are engineered to solve this compromise. Using Ohlins’ proprietary Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology, this system delivers precise control, exceptional grip, and consistent damping on the racetrack, while remaining compliant and comfortable for daily driving. With a simple adjustment, the suspension can be tuned from road-focused comfort to track-ready stiffness.
Key Features
- Ohlins DFV (Dual Flow Valve) technology for road and track versatility
- Single adjuster controls both compression and rebound damping
- Ride height adjustable for optimized stance and handling balance
- Matched compression and rebound hydrodynamics
- High-tolerance construction for consistent performance under load
- Fully rebuildable for long-term serviceability
- Corrosion salt spray tested to ISO 9227 standards
- Includes springs, hardware, and installation instructions
- 2-year limited manufacturer warranty
Construction & Design
Dual Flow Valve (DFV) Technology
At the core of the Road & Track system is Ohlins’ DFV technology, which allows the damper to react differently to low- and high-speed suspension movements. This enables firm, controlled damping during aggressive driving while maintaining compliance over bumps, curbs, and uneven pavement.
Track-Ready Control, Street-Friendly Comfort
The DFV system helps keep the tires in contact with the road surface even when encountering bumps or curbing at speed. This results in improved grip, faster response times, and a car that is easier to balance at the limit. When transitioning back to daily driving, the dampers can be adjusted to road mode for a more relaxed ride without sacrificing responsiveness.
High-Quality Materials
Built to Ohlins’ stringent standards, these coilovers feature corrosion-resistant finishes and robust internal components designed to perform consistently in demanding track environments as well as daily street use.
