Why consider CS3 Coil Over kit? Less compromise. You can easily adjust the rebound damping to your preferred settings, and fine-tune the ride and suspension response. The dampers have 12 settings. The soft setting is very similar to our current CS2. The rebound settings have been developed with 12 linear steps, up to full rebound. The big rebound setting is over 50% more than the CS2 units. The compression has a modest increase as well. This means that the CS3 has our characteristic “sporty” ride on softer settings, and can be a real track rat, aggressive autocross or drag launch setup when running firmer springs with the rebound dialed way up.
This is a perfect system for street performance, track day and autocross enthusiasts, as well as project cars with engine swaps. These damping rates have been successfully used on the track with spring rates up to 650# and 800#/inch (F/R). For the sake of comparison, typical OEM spring rates for these applications are approximately 220#/in front, and 110#/in rear. With the numerous Civic & Integra applications, there is a range of spring rates, and these CS3 systems are significant upgrades from your OEM or replacement-type OEM damper and spring calibrations.
