The Rancho RS5000X Gas Shocks Set is a high-performance suspension upgrade designed for 4WD vehicles with a 4-inch lift. This set includes four shocks and four shock boots, featuring Rancho’s innovative rebound valving system and advanced compression phase to enhance handling both on and off-road. Each shock is gas pressurized to 150 PSI and constructed with a 2-1/4-inch diameter twin tube design, allowing for increased fluid capacity and cooler operation across a wide temperature range. The RS5000X series incorporates patented progressive rebound and compression discs, providing a smoother ride by controlling energy transfer during shock travel. The shocks’ low friction, self-lubricating seals and all-weather fluid further improve durability and performance, reducing harsh impacts and shock fade during demanding driving conditions.

Designed specifically for vehicles with a 4.0-inch front lift, these shocks are compatible with models equipped with Rancho RS6583 or RS6583B systems, fitting front struts only and excluding Classic Silverado/Sierra 1500 models and HD variants. They are intended for use on 4WD trucks requiring extended length shocks for lifted applications. Factory hardware, including washers, bushings, and nuts, are included for straightforward installation, with factory shock mounting bolts reused.
