The RockJock TJ/LJ/XJ/MJ Johnny Joint Trac Bar is an adjustable front trac bar designed to enhance off-road performance and articulation. Constructed from 1 1/4 inch x .250 wall 4130 chrome moly steel, it features a narrow 2 1/2 inch Johnny Joint at the frame end for maximum flexibility. The offset Johnny Joint rod end at the bar's center provides additional clearance between the differential and the trac bar, reducing potential interference during articulation. A welded gusset reinforces the connection from the bar to the frame, and a semi-gloss black powder coat finish offers corrosion resistance. The trac bar includes a heavy-duty nut plate kit and requires some drilling for installation, with supplied hardware for the frame and axle ends. This component is built for durability and performance in demanding off-road conditions.

Designed for 2-inch or greater lift vehicles, this trac bar fits Jeep TJ, LJ, XJ, MJ, and ZJ models with specific fitment considerations. It is compatible with Dana 30 front axles, but may also work on Dana 44, 9-inch, or 60 frontends with less lift—though clearance issues could arise on vehicles with no lift or certain axle configurations. Overview

RockJocks Johnny Joint adjustable front trac bar for the TJ/LJ/XJ/MJ/ZJ features an offset Johnny Joint rod end that puts the bar further forward providing more clearance between the diff and the trac bar. Other features include a narrow 2 1/2 in. Johnny Joint at the frame end for maximum articulation capabilities, 1 1/4 in. x .250 wall 4130 chrome moly construction, a welded in gusset from the bar to the frame Johnny Joint, adjustable Johnny Joint rod end at the axle housing end and semi-gloss black powder coat finish. Some drilling is required for installation. The supplied frame bolt is a 5/8 in., and the supplied housing bolt is 1/2 in. Both of these holes must be drilled to size to accommodate the heavier duty hardware. A heavy duty nut plate kit is supplied for the housing end. NOTE: This trac bar is intended to be used with a minimum of 2 in. of lift. It may work on vehicles with less lift with Dana 30 frontends, however, on vehicles with no lift and a Dana 44, 9 in. or 60 frontend, you may run into a clearance issue. Always check fitment before drilling!
