The Skyjacker 21-22 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 392 Dual Rate Long Travel 2.5in Coil System is a high-performance suspension upgrade designed to enhance off-road articulation and ride quality. It features a specially engineered progressive variable rate coil spring, which operates as a two-stage dual rate coil. The first Flex Rate provides a comfortable ride while allowing increased flex for better articulation, especially during full droop, ensuring the tires maintain contact with uneven terrain. The second Ride Rate engages after additional compression, offering improved stability and handling. Constructed with durable materials, the system includes bump stop spacers to control suspension travel and extended sway bar end links with OEM-style rubber bushings, maintaining proper suspension geometry and compatibility with the vehicle’s Electronic Stability Control system.
This coil system is specifically designed for 2021–2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon models equipped with the 392 engine. It is a bolt-on upgrade that enhances off-road performance and articulation without compromising factory handling characteristics. The kit includes the dual rate coils, bump stop spacers, and extended sway bar end links, all engineered to work seamlessly with the vehicle’s existing suspension components. Ideal for off-road enthusiasts and those seeking improved suspension travel, this system ensures increased durability, articulation, and stability during demanding off-road conditions while maintaining a comfortable ride on paved roads.

Overview
Skyjacker specifically engineered a progressive variable rate coil spring, distinctively a 2-stage dual rate long travel coil. Spring rate progression is from a 1st Flex Rate to a 2nd Ride Rate. The 1st Flex Rate stage delivers a comfortable ride with the ability to flex for increased articulation. The flex rate expands during full articulation as the suspension drops (full droop). This keeps the coil springs seated in the upper coil mount/bucket and the tires in contact with the terrain. The 2nd Ride Rate stage only engages after compression past the flex rate. Engineered to coordinate with the Wrangler's distinctive suspension handling characteristics, the rear coils are side specific. Front and Rear Bump Stop Spacers bolt onto the axle bump pads and keep the suspension travel safely in check. Front and Rear Extended Length Sway Bar End Links allow full articulation as the suspension drops (full droop). These sway bar end links include Skyjacker installed pressed-in HD OEM style rubber bushings. Proper suspension geometry ensures the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system functions within factory parameters.
