The Skyjacker 21-23 Jeep Wrangler JL Rubicon 4XE 4 Door 2.5in Comp. Box with Dual Rate Long Travel Coil Springs is a high-performance suspension upgrade designed to enhance off-road articulation and ride quality. These springs feature a progressive two-stage dual rate design, transitioning from a first Flex Rate for comfort and increased flex, to a second Ride Rate for stability during compression. The springs are engineered to maintain proper coil seating during full articulation, ensuring tires stay in contact with uneven terrain. Additional components include bump stop spacers that bolt onto axle bump pads to control suspension travel and extended sway bar end links with OEM-style rubber bushings, allowing full droop articulation. This setup ensures optimal suspension geometry and compatibility with the Wrangler’s electronic stability systems.

Designed specifically for 2021–2023 Jeep Wrangler JL Rubicon 4xe models with four doors, these coil springs are tailored to match the vehicle’s unique suspension characteristics. The rear coils are side-specific for precise fitment, and the kit includes bump stop spacers and extended sway bar end links for full articulation. Suitable for off-road use, these components provide increased suspension travel, improved articulation, and enhanced handling in rugged conditions. Installation is a bolt-on process, making it a direct replacement for factory springs. This kit is ideal for off-road enthusiasts seeking increased lift and performance while maintaining factory-like ride quality and stability.

Overview

Skyjacker specifically engineered a progressive variable rate coil spring, distinctively a 2-stage dual rate long travel coil. Spring rate progression is from a 1st Flex Rate to a 2nd Ride Rate. The 1st Flex Rate stage delivers a comfortable ride with the ability to flex for increased articulation. The flex rate expands during full articulation as the suspension drops (full droop). This keeps the coil springs seated in the upper coil mount/bucket and the tires in contact with the terrain. The 2nd Ride Rate stage only engages after compression past the flex rate. Engineered to coordinate with the Wrangler's distinctive suspension handling characteristics, the rear coils are side specific. Front and Rear Bump Stop Spacers bolt onto the axle bump pads and keep the suspension travel safely in check. Front and Rear Extended Length Sway Bar End Links allow full articulation as the suspension drops (full droop). These sway bar end links include Skyjacker installed pressed-in HD OEM style rubber bushings. Proper suspension geometry ensures the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system functions within factory parameters.
