The Skyjacker 21-23 Jeep Wrangler Unl. Rubicon 392 Component Box with Rear Dual Rate Long Travel Coils is a high-performance suspension upgrade designed to enhance off-road handling while maintaining smooth street ride characteristics. Engineered with a progressive two-stage dual rate coil spring, it features a Flex Rate for comfortable full articulation and a Ride Rate for increased stability during compression. Constructed from 5160H chromium alloy, each coil spring undergoes shot peening with high-velocity steel pellets to increase tensile strength and prevent sagging. The springs are preset to solid height and tested for durability, with a baked-on powder coat providing corrosion resistance, ensuring long-lasting performance in demanding conditions.
Designed for 2021–2023 Jeep Wrangler models, including the Unl. Rubicon 392, this component box is tailored for off-road enthusiasts seeking improved articulation and handling. The rear coils are side-specific to match Wrangler’s distinctive suspension geometry. This kit serves as a direct replacement for stock coils, offering enhanced ride quality and articulation for off-road adventures while maintaining street comfort. Installation is straightforward, and the kit includes the dual rate long travel coils optimized for off-road performance. Suitable for off-road use, this suspension upgrade provides increased wheel travel and durability for rugged terrain.

Overview
Known for their phenomenal spring ride performance, Skyjackers precision engineering gives you all the vigorous off-road handling needed while providing the smooth street riding characteristics that you demand. Skyjacker specifically engineered a progressive variable rate coil spring, distinctively a 2-stage dual rate long travel coil. Spring rate progression is from a first Flex Rate to a second Ride Rate. First Flex Rate stage of coil spring delivers a comfortable ride with ability to flex\expand during full articulation as suspension drops (full droop). This keeps coil springs seated in upper coil mount\bucket and tires in contact with terrain. Second Ride Rate stage only engages after compression past Flex Rate. Engineered with Wrangler's distinctive suspension handling characteristics, rear coils are side specific. The process starts with 5160H chromium alloy material, an advanced method of shot peening and a presetting process. Each coil spring is blasted (shot peen) with hard steel pellets at very high velocities. Shot peening compresses the surface of the steel thereby increasing the tensile strength of the spring. Compressing the spring completely down to where the coils touch (solid height) is preset. This takes any fatigue or stress off the spring and eliminates sagging. Every coil spring has endured a cycle test to assure the very best in quality. A baked on powder coat provides an extremely durable protective barrier to prevent corrosion.
