The Skyjacker 21-24 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JL 4XE Front Dual Rate Long Travel Coil Springs are high-performance suspension components designed to enhance off-road capability and ride quality. Engineered with a progressive two-stage dual rate system, these springs transition from a first Flex Rate to a second Ride Rate, providing a balance of comfort and articulation. The Flex Rate allows for increased flexibility during full articulation and droop, maintaining proper coil seat positioning and tire contact with the terrain. The Ride Rate engages after compression past the flex stage, offering improved stability and support during aggressive driving conditions. Constructed for durability and performance, these springs are tailored for off-road use, ensuring reliable suspension behavior across varied terrains.

Designed for 2021–2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JL 4XE models, these long travel coil springs are a direct bolt-on upgrade for the front suspension. They are specifically suited for vehicles equipped with the 2.5-inch lift and are intended for off-road enthusiasts seeking enhanced articulation and ride quality. Compatibility is optimized for models with the specified chassis and suspension setup, providing a straightforward installation. The kit includes the coil springs and necessary components for a complete upgrade, making them ideal for off-road adventures, trail riding, and improved suspension performance in demanding environments.

Overview

The biggest determining factors in ride quality and suspension performance are coil springs. Skyjacker specifically engineered a progressive 2-stage dual rate long travel coil. Spring rate progression is from a 1st Flex Rate to a 2nd Ride Rate. The 1st Flex Rate stage delivers a comfortable ride with the ability to flex for increased articulation. The flex rate expands during full articulation as the suspension drops (full droop). This keeps the coil springs seated in the upper coil mount/bucket and the tires in contact with the terrain. The 2nd Ride Rate stage only engages after compression past the flex rate.
