The Skyjacker Leaf Spring for 1981-1993 Dodge W350 Pickup is a high-performance suspension component designed to enhance load-carrying capacity and ride quality. Constructed with American steel, these Softride springs feature individual leafs that are shot-peened with hard steel pellets at high velocities, increasing tensile strength and durability. The tapering design throughout the length of each leaf allows for more flex at the ends, promoting even load distribution and reducing the risk of leaf binding. The bolt-style spring clips eliminate friction and binding issues common with other designs, resulting in smoother operation and longer spring life. These springs are engineered to provide improved wheel travel and ride comfort, especially under heavy loads or off-road conditions.
Designed as a direct replacement for the 1981-1993 Dodge W350 Pickup, these springs are suitable for models equipped with appropriate chassis and suspension setups. They are ideal for towing, hauling, or off-road use, where enhanced durability and performance are required. Installation involves replacing the existing leaf springs with these bolt-on units, ensuring a straightforward upgrade. The kit includes the necessary leaf springs and clips, offering a reliable solution for maintaining or restoring optimal suspension performance on Dodge W350 pickups.

Overview
Overview
Softride(R) springs use only American steel and the individual leafs of each spring are shot-peened with hard steel pellets at very high velocities. This shot-peening compresses the surface of the steel thereby increasing the tensile strength of the spring. Without this shot-peening procedure, the maximum wheel travel and ride quality could not be achieved without sacrificing the life of the spring. Softride(R) springs use bolt style spring clips, eliminating friction. Other spring designs use the c in. style bend clips which bend tightly over the spring leafs causing binding and friction. Skyjacker(R) Softride(R) springs taper over the entire length of the leaf creating more flex at the leaf ends. This tapering distributes loads more evenly over a greater area and reduces the tendency for one leaf to dig into the leaf above it.
