The Skyjacker Softride leaf springs are designed for 1999-2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty 4WD trucks, offering enhanced load capacity and ride quality. Constructed from American steel, each leaf is shot-peened with high-velocity steel pellets to increase tensile strength and durability. This process ensures maximum wheel travel and improved ride comfort without compromising spring lifespan. The springs feature bolt-style spring clips that eliminate friction, unlike traditional bend clips that can cause binding and reduce performance. Tapered along their entire length, these springs distribute loads more evenly and promote greater flex at the leaf ends, reducing the risk of leaf dig-in and enhancing off-road and towing capabilities.
Designed specifically for 1999-2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty 4WD models, these springs are a direct replacement for stock components. They are suitable for heavy-duty use, including towing, hauling, and off-road driving, providing increased stability and load support. Installation involves replacing the existing leaf springs with these bolt-on units, ensuring a secure fit. The kit includes the necessary springs and clips, offering a straightforward upgrade for trucks requiring improved suspension performance. These springs are ideal for owners seeking enhanced durability and load handling in demanding conditions.

Overview
Overview
Softride(R) springs use only American steel and the individual leafs of each spring are shot-peened with hard steel pellets at very high velocities. This shot-peening compresses the surface of the steel thereby increasing the tensile strength of the spring. Without this shot-peening procedure, the maximum wheel travel and ride quality could not be achieved without sacrificing the life of the spring. Softride(R) springs use bolt style spring clips, eliminating friction. Other spring designs use the c in. style bend clips which bend tightly over the spring leafs causing binding and friction. Skyjacker(R) Softride(R) springs taper over the entire length of the leaf creating more flex at the leaf ends. This tapering distributes loads more evenly over a greater area and reduces the tendency for one leaf to dig into the leaf above it.
