The Skyjacker Leaf Spring for 2012 Ram 2500 4 Wheel Drive is a high-performance suspension component designed to enhance load-carrying capacity and ride quality. Constructed from American steel, these Softride springs feature shot-peened individual leafs with hard steel pellets at high velocities, which increases the tensile strength of the steel surface. This shot-peening process ensures maximum wheel travel and improved ride comfort while maintaining spring longevity. The springs utilize bolt-style spring clips, eliminating friction and binding issues common with other designs. Additionally, the springs taper along their entire length, providing more flex at the leaf ends, which distributes loads evenly and reduces the risk of leaf dig-in, resulting in a more durable and responsive suspension.
Designed specifically for 2012 Ram 2500 models with four-wheel drive, these springs are a direct replacement for the stock components. They are suitable for off-road, towing, and heavy-duty applications where enhanced durability and performance are required. The kit includes the necessary leaf springs and mounting hardware for straightforward installation. Compatible with the specified year, make, and model, these springs are ideal for drivers seeking improved load support and ride quality in demanding conditions, ensuring a reliable upgrade for your truck’s suspension system.

Overview
Overview
Softride(R) springs use only American steel and the individual leafs of each spring are shot-peened with hard steel pellets at very high velocities. This shot-peening compresses the surface of the steel thereby increasing the tensile strength of the spring. Without this shot-peening procedure, the maximum wheel travel and ride quality could not be achieved without sacrificing the life of the spring. Softride(R) springs use bolt style spring clips, eliminating friction. Other spring designs use the c in. style bend clips which bend tightly over the spring leafs causing binding and friction. Skyjacker(R) Softride(R) springs taper over the entire length of the leaf creating more flex at the leaf ends. This tapering distributes loads more evenly over a greater area and reduces the tendency for one leaf to dig into the leaf above it.
