â–¶ Vehicle Fitments
The SPL Parts Front Outer Tie Rod Ends for the 1995-2004 Porsche 911 (996) are high-performance suspension components designed to improve steering precision and handling. Constructed from lightweight aluminum and titanium, these tie rod ends allow for the relocation of the pivot point, effectively correcting bump steer caused by modified caster or lower arm geometry. This adjustment enhances overall vehicle stability and reduces lap times on the track. The use of durable, race-ready materials ensures longevity and resistance to bending or breaking under demanding conditions, making them ideal for racing applications. These tie rod ends are engineered to provide precise steering response and maintain proper suspension geometry during aggressive driving.
Designed specifically for the 1995-2004 Porsche 911 (996), these SPL Parts tie rod ends are a direct upgrade for vehicles with lowered suspensions or modified front-end geometry. They serve to prevent binding of the inner tie rods and mitigate the risk of damage during high-performance driving or racing. Installation involves relocating the pivot point to optimize alignment and handling characteristics. The kit includes the necessary lightweight aluminum and titanium components, ensuring a secure fit and reliable performance. Suitable for track use, street driving, or any application demanding precise steering control, these tie rod ends help maintain optimal suspension function and vehicle responsiveness.

Overview
Overview
SPL Parts Front Tie Rod Ends (TRE) for the 1995-2004 Porsche 911 (996) allow the tie rod end pivot to be relocated, which will correct bump steer resulting from modified caster or lower arm geometry, thus reducing lap times. On cars that are lowered significantly, relocating the pivot point will also keep the tie rod end from binding, thereby preventing the inner tie rods from breaking or bending when racing.
Made in the USA.
