The SPL Parts Front Outer Tie Rod Ends for the 2005-2011 Porsche Boxster (987) are high-performance steering components designed to improve handling precision and reduce bump steer. Constructed from lightweight aluminum and titanium, these tie rod ends are engineered to allow the pivot point to be relocated, which helps correct caster-related steering issues and optimize suspension geometry. By adjusting the pivot, they enhance steering response and stability during aggressive driving or track use. The use of durable, race-grade materials ensures longevity and resistance to bending or breaking under demanding conditions, making them ideal for enthusiasts seeking reliable performance upgrades.
These tie rod ends are specifically designed for the Porsche Boxster models from 2005 to 2011, fitting the front outer position as a direct replacement or upgrade. They are suitable for lowered vehicles where maintaining proper steering geometry is critical, especially in racing or spirited driving scenarios. Installation involves replacing the stock components with these lightweight units, which are compatible with the original steering setup. These parts are manufactured in the USA and are intended for street and track applications where precise steering and durability are essential for optimal vehicle control.

Overview
Overview
SPL Parts Front Tie Rod Ends (TRE) for the 1995-2004 Porsche 911 (996) allow the tie rod end pivot to be relocated, which will correct bump steer resulting from modified caster or lower arm geometry, thus reducing lap times. On cars that are lowered significantly, relocating the pivot point will also keep the tie rod end from binding, thereby preventing the inner tie rods from breaking or bending when racing.
Made in the USA.
