Terrawagen Mondo Mudguards (2+ Inch Wheel Opening Clearance Upgrade) for 2019+ Sprinter VS30

Overview

When you upsize tires on a 2019+ Mercedes Sprinter VS30 (907), the limiting factor is often wheel opening clearance—not suspension travel. The factory mudguard area can interfere with larger tires under compression and steering, and it can also reduce your ability to run snow chains when conditions demand it.

Terrawagen Mondo Mudguards are engineered to expand the wheel opening by 2+ inches, creating the extra room needed for larger tire fitments and improved chain clearance, while maintaining an OEM-inspired fit and finish.

Mondo Mudguards are designed using OEM CAD data to match the Sprinter’s body geometry, aligning cleanly with factory contours and mounting locations for a finished, integrated appearance.

• Textured TPO (Original)

  A durable textured thermoplastic option intended to blend with other textured exterior accessories and stand up to daily use.

• Smooth ABS (Paintable)

  A smooth ABS option intended for customers who want a paint-ready surface for a more color-matched, OEM-style appearance.

Clearance-Focused Geometry

The shape and placement are purpose-built to open up the rear edge of the wheel opening area by 2+ inches. This added space targets the common contact zone when stepping up tire size and when chain clearance is required.

Tire Size Notes

If you are running Adaptive Cruise Control and want to keep it functional, a commonly acknowledge limit is 275/70R17. More aggressive fitments are possible (for example, 285/75R16), but may affect Adaptive Cruise Control behavior depending on your overall setup. We are using a 265/70R17 (pictured) Falken Wildpeak All Terrain tire on our RWD Sprinter.

Installation

Installation is designed to be straightforward and is intended as a practical upgrade for clearance. Note: the mudflap itself is not included and is typically reused.
