The UMI Performance 68-72 GM A-Body Tubular Upper & Lower Control Arms are high-performance suspension components designed to enhance handling and stability for classic GM A-Body vehicles from 1968 to 1972. Constructed with 1.625" OD x 0.120" DOM mild steel tubing and fully TIG and MIG welded, these control arms offer increased strength and durability over stock stamped steel parts. The inclusion of high-quality polyurethane bushings with grease fittings improves ride quality, reduces traction loss, and minimizes wheel hop. Fully CNC machined for precision tolerances, they provide a direct bolt-on replacement that enhances cornering, track consistency, and overall suspension performance.
Designed specifically for 1968–1972 GM A-Body models, these control arms are suitable for street and track use, whether for daily driving or competitive racing. They are compatible with stock sway bars and most aftermarket options, with sway bar mounting holes included on the lower control arms. Installation is straightforward, taking approximately two hours using OEM hardware, with all necessary instructions provided.
