The Whiteline 93-98 Toyota Supra Rear Subframe Bushing Kit is a performance upgrade designed to enhance chassis stability and handling during high cornering loads. Constructed from low compliance polymer, these bushings replace the original soft rubber mounts to lock the rear subframe firmly in place, reducing lateral movement and 'walking' when using high grip tires. The design incorporates soft stand-off buffers on the top and bottom surfaces, allowing slight vertical movement to maintain a comfortable NVH level while providing a solid, positive location for the subframe under high torque and power conditions. This results in improved responsiveness, reduced compliance, and a more precise driving experience.

Specifically engineered for 1993-1998 Toyota Supra models, this kit is a direct replacement for the factory rubber bushings. It is suitable for street and performance applications where enhanced handling and stability are desired. The installation involves replacing the existing bushings with the supplied polymer components, offering a straightforward upgrade for enthusiasts seeking improved chassis control. The kit includes all necessary bushings to ensure proper fitment and performance, making it an ideal upgrade for Supra owners aiming to optimize their vehicle’s handling characteristics.

Overview

Toyota's rear subframe is mounted on soft rubber bushings which allows for a significant amount of compliance/movement in the frame during high cornering loads. Whiteline's low compliance polymer bushings eliminate this condition by positively locking in the frame position and removing the 'lateral walking' found when using high grip tires. The polymer bushing design has soft 'stand-off' buffers on the top and bottom surfaces of the bushing to allow slight vertical bushing movement of the subframe to eliminate that 'rock-solid' NVH feel and cushion against minor bumps and allow solid positive location when high torque and power is applied.
