The Wilwood Superlite internal caliper is a high-performance brake component designed for short track, late model, modified, and open wheel racing applications. Engineered for competitive motorsports, this caliper features a compact design with 1.75-inch pistons and a 1.10-inch rotor thickness, providing exceptional stopping power and consistent brake feel. The FSLI model introduces internal fluid ports that eliminate external crossover tubes, reducing potential damage and simplifying maintenance. Constructed from lightweight materials, the caliper delivers optimal strength and durability while minimizing unsprung weight, which enhances overall vehicle handling and responsiveness during aggressive driving.
This caliper is compatible with vehicles equipped with 3.5-inch lug mount configurations, suitable for a wide range of racing and performance vehicles. It is ideal for use in short track, road race, off-road, rally, and sport driving scenarios, offering a reliable upgrade or replacement for existing brake systems. Designed for bolt-on installation, it ensures straightforward fitment on compatible chassis. The kit includes the caliper itself, with no additional components specified, making it suitable for professional or enthusiast-level racing setups that demand high-performance braking solutions.

Overview
Overview
The Superlite caliper series is the benchmark in short track, late model, modified and open wheel competition. It also enjoys prominence in a variety of road-race, off-road, rally and sport driving applications. The new FSLI model series is the latest innovation to this Superlite family of calipers. It has been redesigned with internal fluid ports that eliminate the external fluid cross-over tubes, along with any potential problems that could arise from a damaged tube. The transfer tube has been replaced with two additional bleed screw assemblies which allows this group of symmetrical piston bore models to be mounted either right or left in a leading or trailing position.
Wilwood is a leading manufacturer of high-performance brake systems and components to fit a wide range of track and street applications. They offer everything from individual components like rotors, calipers, and pads to complete bolt-on kits.
Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures high-performance disc brake systems. Since the company’s inception in 1977 by Bill Wood, we have developed a substantial matrix of brake components and engineering techniques that allow us to quickly and reliably create brake systems for almost any application. Our core ability is the rapid development of custom engineered brake systems using a combination of off-the-shelf and custom components. In addition to designing and manufacturing brakes for all types of competitive motorsports, Wilwood also manufactures brake systems and components for agricultural equipment, industrial applications, utility vehicles, snowmobiles, quads, motorcycles and military vehicles.
With headquarters in Camarillo, California, Wilwood employs approximately 320 people. We have on-shelf stock of more than 300 different brake calipers, 200 rotor designs, 100 master cylinder designs and a wide assortment of brackets, fittings, valves and brake lines. Our off-shelf brake calipers range in size from tiny calipers used on go-carts and light duty industrial equipment to heavy-duty original equipment brakes for the U.S. military Humvee.
Wilwood's engineering department uses the latest computer-aided design and manufacturing techniques in conjunction with finite element analysis, dynamic test and cycle test equipment to find high-performance and reliability solutions for the most difficult braking tasks. Our extensive inventory of proprietary on-the-shelf components allow us to provide cost-effective solutions for unique brake applications.
Wilwood is ISO 9000 compliant and has extensive experience maintaining quality levels of 100ppm or less for original equipment manufacturers.
