The Wilwood Ultralite 32 D&S Rotor is a high-performance brake rotor designed to optimize weight reduction and heat management for racing applications. Constructed from durable iron with scalloped edges, this rotor features a 11.75-inch outer diameter and a 1.25-inch thickness, providing a lightweight yet effective solution for competitive motorsports. Its low-temperature race design helps reduce unsprung mass, resulting in quicker deceleration, faster acceleration out of corners, and improved handling through better spring and shock control. The rotor’s lightweight construction enhances overall braking performance while maintaining durability under demanding conditions, making it ideal for sprint and late model racing.
This rotor is compatible with a range of race vehicles requiring a 11.75-inch diameter rotor with a 1.25-inch thickness, suitable for various chassis and engine configurations. It is intended for track use, offering a direct replacement or upgrade for stock rotors in racing setups. The design supports high heat dissipation and efficient braking, contributing to consistent performance during intense racing conditions. Installation is straightforward for qualified technicians, and the rotor is suitable for vehicles where weight reduction and heat management are critical for optimal race performance.

Overview
Overview
When it comes to rotors, racers are constantly searching for the ultimate balance between the lowest weight and the ability to effectively manage heat. Decreased rotating weight in the drive line provides quicker deceleration under braking and quicker acceleration out of the corners. Lower weight also benefits handling with improved spring and shock control over the unsprung suspension mass. Wilwood's ULS-32 scalloped iron rotors provides effective lightweight options for sprints, late models, modifieds, and other competition applications that race in low to medium temperature ranges.
Wilwood is a leading manufacturer of high-performance brake systems and components to fit a wide range of track and street applications. They offer everything from individual components like rotors, calipers, and pads to complete bolt-on kits.
Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures high-performance disc brake systems. Since the company’s inception in 1977 by Bill Wood, we have developed a substantial matrix of brake components and engineering techniques that allow us to quickly and reliably create brake systems for almost any application. Our core ability is the rapid development of custom engineered brake systems using a combination of off-the-shelf and custom components. In addition to designing and manufacturing brakes for all types of competitive motorsports, Wilwood also manufactures brake systems and components for agricultural equipment, industrial applications, utility vehicles, snowmobiles, quads, motorcycles and military vehicles.
With headquarters in Camarillo, California, Wilwood employs approximately 320 people. We have on-shelf stock of more than 300 different brake calipers, 200 rotor designs, 100 master cylinder designs and a wide assortment of brackets, fittings, valves and brake lines. Our off-shelf brake calipers range in size from tiny calipers used on go-carts and light duty industrial equipment to heavy-duty original equipment brakes for the U.S. military Humvee.
Wilwood's engineering department uses the latest computer-aided design and manufacturing techniques in conjunction with finite element analysis, dynamic test and cycle test equipment to find high-performance and reliability solutions for the most difficult braking tasks. Our extensive inventory of proprietary on-the-shelf components allow us to provide cost-effective solutions for unique brake applications.
Wilwood is ISO 9000 compliant and has extensive experience maintaining quality levels of 100ppm or less for original equipment manufacturers.
