The Yukon Gear 11-12 RAM 1500/2500 Upper & Lower Ball Joint Kit is a heavy-duty replacement designed to restore and enhance front suspension performance. Constructed with CNC-machined forged SAE 1045 carbon alloy steel housings and induction heat-treated, hot-forged 4140 chromoly ball studs, these ball joints offer superior strength and durability. The upper joint features a carbon steel bearing, while the lower joint utilizes military-grade acetal bearings for advanced anti-friction properties and dimensional stability. The two-staged protective boot system, combining synthetic Neoprene/CR outer boots and inner seals, safeguards against dirt, grime, oil, gas, and extreme temperatures, ensuring long-lasting performance in demanding conditions.

This kit is designed for 2011–2012 Ram 1500 and 2500 models equipped with AAM 9.25-inch front differentials. It replaces both upper and lower front ball joints on both sides, providing a direct bolt-on upgrade for improved handling, stability, and longevity. The package includes Grade 8 hardware, castle nuts, c-clips, cotter pins, and zerk fittings for complete installation. The upper joint’s bearing features a carbon steel design that is superior to the OE joint. The lower joint uses military-grade acetal bearings because of their advanced anti-friction properties and dimensional stability. Ball joints are only as durable as the protection provided by their rubber boots. These Yukon ball joints feature a two-staged approach with a synthetic Neoprene/CR outer boot and an inner seal/pancake boot that safeguard the spherical joint and bucket against gritty road grime, oil, gas, and engine fluids, and extreme temperatures. This kit replaces the upper and lower front ball joints on both sides and includes Grade 8 hardware, castle nuts, c-clips, cotter pins, and zerk fittings.
