335i vs 335is
The 335is (2011–2013) shares the N54 engine and suspension with the 335i. All kits in this guide fit both. The 335is had a factory sport suspension; drop heights may vary slightly from base 335i.
RWD vs 335Xi
The 335Xi has different front suspension geometry. Use the H&R Sport 50494-2 for 335Xi Coupe. The 50490-3 and 50490-88 fit RWD only.
Vehicle Age & Shock Condition
2007–2013 E92s are 11–18 years old. Factory shocks are likely worn. Consider Bilstein B6 or B8 when installing springs for the best ride quality.
Alignment & Camber
Drops under 1.3" (H&R Sport, Swift) typically stay within factory alignment specs. The H&R Race (-2.0" front) will require camber plates. Always budget for a professional alignment after installation.

The H&R Sport (50490-3) delivers a 1.3" front and 1.2" rear drop on the 2007–2013 BMW 335i and 335is Coupe E92. Designed for the N54-powered 335i, it provides a balanced stance with a progressive spring rate. Fits both base 335i and the 335is (2011–2013).
H&R springs are cold-wound from 54SiCr6 steel in Germany. Strong community validation on E92 335i. Does not fit 328i — use 50490-2 for that model. RWD only; for 335Xi use 50494-2.
